Titans @ Jags - Spread Titans by 3
The Jags have been playing fairly well of late, but the Titans have already beaten Dallas and the Giants on the road. The Jags are giving up nearly 28 points per game and over 280 yards passing per game, which is interesting because the Titans like to run. I like the Jags to hang on in this one and cover the spread.

Week 5 NFL Predictions
Bucs @ Bengals - Spread Bengals by 7
Bucs are coming off a bye week and the Bengals just lost to Cleveland. Yikes. I'll take the Bucs to cover, but the Bengals to just squeak by.

Which Packers team will show up? The one that made Buffalo look silly or the one that made the Lions look like the 1999 Rams. Tough one to call and I probably wouldn't bet this one. On a hunch I'll take the Skins

I called the Bronco upset last week but I'm not as bold this week. The Ravens are just getting warmed up. While I think the Broncos have a shot, I just think the home field advantage wins out.

The Giants just destroyed Jay Cutler last week and gained a ton of confidence. The Texans are a jeckll and hyde team so it's not clear how they'll play. Should be a high scoring affair.

Usually a game of zero interest, both teams are playing surprisingly well and this should be a good contest. The Lions have been so close lately you have to think they get over the hump at some point and I think this is the game.

This ain't a pick em spread for nothing. Two very equal teams looking for some confidence. The Bills should showcase C.J. Spiller in this one and MJD should be the workhorse for the Jags. This game could be 50-49 or 3-0, so we'll split the difference.

Bears @ Panthers - Spread Pick em'
The current spread is anywhere from pick em to Bears by 3, which I think will probably go to a Pick Em once the services catch up with Cutler being out. This should be a snoozer between Jimmy Clausen and Todd Collins.

The Saints have been awful against the spread. That is until they played the Cardinals who they will beat like a drum. This should be rout with Max Hall starting his first NFL game.

At first glance this would look like a runaway for the Chargers. Oakland has been playing well and it looks like they'll be without Darren McFadden this week. Gates will be a huge matchup problem for Oakland.

Cowboys are at home and the Titans just lost a tough game against the Broncos. CJ hasn't been getting the touches he needs for the Titans to be dominant. The Cowboys are just good enough not to let this one get away.
