College Football Opening Weekend Wrap

Well the opening weekend isn't quite over, but I've seen enough to have opinions;

The first thing that impressed me was USC (granted Virginia is terrible), but they just have so many weapons and Mark Sanchez made me a believer. I think they rip OSU a new one next weekend, especially if Beanie Wells doesn't make it back. The other team that impressed me was Florida. Tebow was a non-factor and the Gators still put up 56. I can't stay that I was extremely impressed by anyone else although Missouri looked okay which sucks because they play NOBODY the rest of the way so a team that doesn't deserve national championship consideration will get it (a la Ohio St.).

There are quite a few teams that depressed me, Virginia Tech for instance. I knew they'd have problems this year, but c'mon. Next, Michigan sucks. I was kind of hoping Michigan would win so we wouldn't have to listen to this BCS Buster bull crap with Utah, but oh well. I think Utah loses a few, not very impressive in my opinion. Did Clemson play the entire game without an offensive line? because I didn't see one out there, and they can't tackle. I gave Clemson a lot of credit before this year started (see my Top 25), but they are just plain terrible. Alabama is NOT that good folks, it's the same team as last year with a few inexperienced freshman.

That's a wrap.
